Business technology event planned
Uses of technology to enhance business profitability will be in the spotlight during an event sponsored by Reno South Rotary on May 12, 2011.
The event, which benefits the Rotary Club’s “Most Improved Student” scholarships program, runs from 3-7 p.m. at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.
Scheduled speakers include Bob Christensen of Microsoft Corp., David LaPlante of One to One Interactive, John Sien of Calibration Consultants and Ross Miller, Nevada’s Secretary of State.
Other sponsors include Microsoft, IQ Technology Solutions, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology and Northern Nevada Business Weekly.

According to the BBB’s 2019 Give.org Donor Trust Report, 70% of respondents rated the importance of trusting a charity before giving as essential. However, only 19% of respondents say they highly trust charities.
