Carson Station going to the Max
Carson Station officially became the Max Casino July 29 when a new sign went up.
General Manager Lee Kennedy said the new name is just one of a long list of changes and upgrades at the property on south Carson Street.
“It made sense to change the name because of the way the casino is going to look when it is done,” he said.
Kennedy said there will be an official grand opening in September when the work is done. Kennedy said the hotel-casino’s 91 rooms have already been upgraded and will get more attention as work continues. The casino floor will offer 207 games along with a casino pit.
“Right now there are a whole lot of moving pieces that have to be taken care of,” he said.
