Celebrating the arts in Reno
Artown Marketing Director
Artown is a month-long celebration of the arts in Reno, spanning the entire month of July. During the month, we feature over 500 multi-disciplinary events including music, dance, theater, visual arts, workshops, art walks and much more. This unique arts and cultural festival attracts an audience of 300,000 offering 72 percent of the events free to the public. Since its inception, Artown has been the facilitator for the creativity emerging in our community.
With the success of Artown, the City of Reno has made its mark as a destination where companies flourish and arts and culture thrive. To commemorate its 21st year, Artown continues to garner support from like-minded businesses that believe in the power and economic impact of the arts. Through this support, residents and visitors are able to experience the highest caliber of artistic excellence alongside local talent including artistic performances, art installations, street art and many diverse genres that contribute to revitalizing the image of downtown.
Reno is a region that is rich and robust with art and culture. By staying relevant in the industry and constantly attracting new and diverse audiences, Artown is known as one of the largest and most comprehensive festivals in the country.
