Kenya geothermal plant developed by Reno firm
A geothermal power station designed by Reno’s Geothermal Development Associates has been commissioned by the Oserian Development Co. of Naivasha, Kenya.
Along with engineering design, the Reno company packaged the components of the geothermal plant and managed the construction.
The facility provides electricity for a flower-growing operation in Kenya’s Rift Valley.
The agreements are designed to split the costs of improvements such as traffic signals between Carson City and developers whose projects generate the traffic increases that trigger the need for improvements.
