Keystone Commons slated for demolition
The owner of the outdated 14,000-square-foot Keystone Commons retail center at Fifth Street and Keystone Avenue in Reno says the now-vacant property is slated for demolition.
Alan Gottlieb, principal with Real Estate Affiliates Inc. of Calabasas, Calif., says the company has no specific plans for the property but does envision developing a retail center at the site in the future.
“These buildings are obsolete and have no further economic life,” Gottlieb says.
Keystone Commons, built in 1964, was the longtime home of Keystone Cue & Cushion and the Fresh Mex Mexican food eatery.
