LJM: No stock sales yet
LJM Energy Corp., a Reno company that hopes to raise $1 million through sale of stock to the public, said last week it hasn’t yet sold any of the shares. The company’s registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission was effective Jan. 19.
The company founded in March 2010 posted a loss of $21,748 in the fourth quarter, it said in a filing with the SEC, It has yet to record any revenues.
LJM Energy owns a 3 percent interest in an oil exploration property in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma.
According to the BBB’s 2019 Give.org Donor Trust Report, 70% of respondents rated the importance of trusting a charity before giving as essential. However, only 19% of respondents say they highly trust charities.
