Mars Petcare saves electricity
Mars Petcare US will reduce the electric consumption at its plant east of Sparks by an estimated 542,652 kilowatt hours a year through the installation of new lighting and sensors that turn off lights in unoccupied areas.
The company received a $28,017 rebate from NV Energy’s Sure Bet program, which provides financial incentives to large commercial energy users who invest in energy efficient equipment and lighting.
According to the BBB’s 2019 Give.org Donor Trust Report, 70% of respondents rated the importance of trusting a charity before giving as essential. However, only 19% of respondents say they highly trust charities.
