Bill Freeman has retired from Freeman & Williams, LLP, a certified public accounting firm in Carson City.
Freeman began his career with the Internal Revenue Service in June 1971 as senior appeals officer of the Northern Nevada Section until 1983. He joined Freeman & Williams in 1983 as tax manager. He became a partner in the firm in 1985.
Freeman earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 1972.
Terry Reynolds replaces Michael Brown, who Gov. Steve Sisolak named last week as director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
