David Gaskin has been appointed deputy director of the Nevada Department of Transportation’s department environmental and stormwater management programs.
Gaskin has more than 22 years of experience managing environmental programs at the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection. He also worked to construct and operate large solar power plants in the Mojave Desert and was an officer in the U.S. Navy.
He earned an astronautics degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Terry Reynolds replaces Michael Brown, who Gov. Steve Sisolak named last week as director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
