Irene Davidson was named Carson District ranger for the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
Davidson, who has worked in the U.S. Forest Service for 23 years, previously was Naches District ranger on the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest in Washington and Aspen Sopris District ranger on the White River National Forest in Colorado. She also worked in the Lake Tahoe Basin until 2007 when she moved to Colorado.
Davidson earned her bachelor’s of science degree in horticulture with a minor in botany from Oregon State University.
Terry Reynolds replaces Michael Brown, who Gov. Steve Sisolak named last week as director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
