Michael Buis has been named a managing partner with Pacific States Communications.
Buis, who has worked for Pacific States for more than 25 years, most recently served as chief executive officer. He started in a sales position for the company, transitioned to chief operations officer in 2006, and CEO in 2012. He has 34 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Buis earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Purdue University and has earned sales and technical certifications from ShoreTel, NEC and Allworx and Adtran.
Terry Reynolds replaces Michael Brown, who Gov. Steve Sisolak named last week as director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
