Michael Dooley has joined Cal-Mazz Golf Management, which operates Sierra Sage Golf Course, as its head golf course superintendent.
Dooley, who has 20 years experience in golf management, most recently was golf superintendent for the Duncan Golf Management Group. He also was golf course superintendent at Hidden Valley Country Club in Reno as well as general manager at Tres Rios Golf Course in Goodyear, Ariz.
Dooley earned an associates degree in agricultural technology/ golf course management from Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Terry Reynolds replaces Michael Brown, who Gov. Steve Sisolak named last week as director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
