Nicole Duxbury, Molly Livingston and Russell Smithson have been elected to the board of directors of the Nevada Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (NCET), while Dan Brewster, Tom Clark, and Nancy Getsi have been re-elected to one-year terms on NCET’s board.
Duxbury, who works as social content executive at The Abbi Agency in Reno, was elected vice president of social media.
Livingston, a senior account executive at The Abbi Agency, was elected vice president of public relations.
Smithson, who works as a government affairs specialist with McDonald Carano Wilson, was elected vice president of image management.
Brewster, who serves as a hardware field service engineer with Oracle America Corp., was re-elected vice president of e-mail services.
Clark, owner of Tom Clark Solutions, which provides non-legal government and public affairs services on behalf of his clients before federal, state, and local governments and regulatory agencies, was re-elected vice president of public affairs.
Getsi, who serves as vice president of application development with EIG Services Inc., was re-elected vice president of e-mail services.
Nathan Strong informed his staff Thursday morning, Nov. 21, of his decision to resign, effective immediately, as leader of the Churchill Economic Development Authority.
