Norma Santoyo has joined the Nevada Rural Housing Authority as director of human resources and administration.
Santoyo has worked in state and local government human resource management for more than 22 years, most recently serving as the human resources manager for Douglas County and chief human resources officer for the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
Santoyo, originally from Durango, Mexico, earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Nevada, Reno and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Terry Reynolds replaces Michael Brown, who Gov. Steve Sisolak named last week as director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
