Don Tatro, Executive Director of the Builders Association of Northern Nevada
About the speaker:
Don Tatro is the executive director of Builders Association of Northern Nevada (BANN). He formerly served as the director of public affairs and membership for BANN.
He is a Carson City native and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix as he simultaneously received first-hand experience working in San Francisco’s financial district.
Tatro started working at an early age in construction and for local horse trainers. Since then, he has acquired a wide range of experience from working for a large risk management firm to working in the United States Senate and on various political campaigns in Washington, D.C. He later successfully launched his own small business – an appraisal management company working in seven states – and was partner in a development group focusing on rural healthcare needs.
Tatro was drawn back to Reno to be close to family. He is excited to be back in northern Nevada with his wife and two children, who are his motivation to be an active participant within the community.
