About the Speakers:

Nathan Kanute is a commercial litigator who practices in the firms Reno office. Nathan is licensed in Nevada, Arizona and California and has almost 10 years of experience representing clients in State Court, Federal District Court and Bankruptcy Court.

Carrie Parker is a commercial litigator whose practice is concentrated in white collar criminal defence and commercial litigation matters. Licensed in Nevada and California, Carrie has been practicing law for almost 10 years. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Carrie worked in the Nevada Attorney General's Office.

Ronald L. Durkin is a Senior Managing Director of Durkin Forensic, Inc. (DFI). Ron is a Certified Public Accountant and an adjunct professor at UNR where he teaches 'Forensic Auditing and Fraud Examination". He founded DFI in 2008 after retiring from KPMG, LLP where he was the National Partner in Charge of Fraud and Misconduct Investigations and also served as Western Region forensic practice leader. In addition, Ron was a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a member of the Bureau's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team. Ron's professional career has spanned more than 35 years.
